Values

Playfulness

Yep, this one should go without saying but.. We’ll still say it! Kelsey believes deeply that a lighthearted, interactive approach that emphasizes enjoyment, spontaneity, humor, and a relaxed attitude - goes a long way - whether it’s a work meeting, learning a new skill, getting your 6 year old to help around the house or dare we say it - having dinner with your in-laws.

Realness

As soon as you meet Kelsey, you’ll know that she’s complete rubbish at putting on a happy face, just talking about the weather or hiding really good news. She wants to connect on a real level - this could be exchanging labor stories, hearing your passions or listening to what’s holding you back at work. This includes radical honesty and having to the courage to say the hard but needed things.

Kindness

It's being a ray of sunshine in someone else's cloudy sky. It's saying a genuine "hello" with a smile or lending a helping hand when someone needs it. It’s genuine care for someone else with no expectation in return and quite frankly just a more enjoyable way to interact.

Curiosity

Yes, unfortunately curiousness, isn’t a thing, so it’s just curiosity. There is loads we don’t know. A few kind questions go a long way - in learning, growing, connecting. The more we can acknowledge that we don’t know the more we can learn. Ohh and, Kelsey’s always up for a good adventure and finds it hard to say no to new things.

Art + Science

This one is a bit cliche but also so definitely one of Kelsey’s values. Science, data, experiments inform her life and her work. It helps he identify what to do and why. The how however, is often the art of bringing good science to life
